Beate finished her education at The Royal Danish Opera Academy in 2015 and the following summer she worked for the festival of Aix-en-Provence with contemporary repertoire at the academy and as a cover in a contemporary opera: “SVADBA” by ANA Sokolovic. She joined the tour of the same opera, as Lena in the 16/17 season.

In 2016 she made her debut as Susanna in “Le nozze di Figaro” at The Longborough Festival Opera where she returned for Pamina in “Die Zauberflöte” 2017 under the baton of Anthony Neagus and director Thomas Guthrie. Beate became a laureate of the Festival d’Aix-En-Provence and in 2017 Beate held her solo recital at Theatre Jeu de Paume. She returned in 2018 to sing Najade in “Ariadne auf Naxos”, under the baton of Marc Albrecht and director Katie Mitchell. She appeared in the same production at Theatre Champs-Elysèes in March, 2019.

In 2021 she returned to Aix to sing in Kaija Saariaho’s world premiere of her latest opera “Innocence” and as a concert soloist with Saariaho’s “Cinq Reflets de l’Amour de Loin” together with London Symphony Orchestra. Beate was in the original cast of Kaija Saariaho’s masterpiece opera “Innocence” at Aix-en-Provence in 2021 and again at Royal Opera Covent Garden in London in 2023, and again at San Fransisco Opera in 2024.

In 2020 Beate sang Marie in Rufus Wainwright’s opera “Prima Donna” at the Royal Opera in Stockholm. In spring 2021 Beate made her debut as Vitellia in “La Clemenza di Tito” at the Bergen National Opera. Conducted by Edward Gardner, this Covid-production was broadcasted all over Europe.
