Lysandre Châlon

Lysandre Châlon began singing at the Conservatoire de Meaux before continuing his studies at the CRR in Paris.
He is currently studying for a master's degree at the CNSMDP with Frédéric Gindraux, and has taken masterclasses with Véronique Gens, Iñaki Encina Oyon, Irène Kudela and Alain Buet.

A regular performer in the baroque repertoire, he recently sang the role of Aeneas in Purcell's opera of the same name at the CNSMDP, conducted by Leonardo García Alarcón, as well as the great French motets with Emmanuelle Haïm.
He is currently collaborating with the ensemble Correspondances in the roles of Achis and the Guerrier in Charpentier's David et Jonathas, and on various vocal ensemble projects.

Also familiar with the Mozart repertoire, he sang Guglielmo in Così fan Tutte with the Opéra Éclaté company and the Count in The Marriage of Figaro with Les Chants Égarés. He will shortly be appearing as Leporello in Don Giovanni at the Festival Musique en Ré and as Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro in the CNSMDP production.

His other stage roles include Belcore in L'Elixir d'Amour, the Baron in La vie Parisienne, Franck in Fledermaus and Baker in Bernstein's Wonderful Town.

His sacred music experience includes Bach cantatas and motets with Christophe Coin and Richard Myron, as well as Mozart's Requiem, Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle, Dvorak's Stabat Mater and Requiem, and Fauré's Requiem.

His repertoire includes songs by Ropartz, Ibert, Fauré, Duparc, Schubert, Brahms, Wolf, Vaughan Williams and Gerald Finzi.
