The Maîtrise Populaire de l'Opéra-Comique invites you on a journey through time and space, where past and present intertwine. Between the Musée d'Orsay and the Opéra-Comique, a rift in time opens up a dialogue between the discoveries of the Belle Époque and contemporary aspirations.
Get ready for a unique sensory experience where the creations of the past meet the visions of the present.

Note of intent

In a Paris where past and present intertwine, a mysterious rift in time opens up between the Musée d'Orsay and the Opéra-Comique.
The Belle Époque, with its cinematic discoveries, black-and-white images, mimes and pantomimes, has made its way to us, plunging us into a more unstructured world where ‘meaning’ and ‘beauty’ are no longer at the heart of the work.
Audiences will be transported on an immersive journey through space and time, where the creations of the past are superimposed on the aspirations of the present.

With the Maîtrise Populaire de l'Opéra-Comique and participation of the teaching team - Artistic director Sarah Koné
