According to Jules Massenet
Opera for young audiences offered in two versions (participative ou non)
Massenet was seduced by Cervantès’ hero and reinvented the female character, inspiring the likes of Ravel, Ibert, Brel. This adaptation offers the opportunity to discover these three mythical characters while getting a taste of the poetry brought to théâtre by chants. With Don Quixote, imagination takes power!
