Michael’s journey

In the scenes of Act II of Donnerstag aus Licht, Michael recounts us striking events of his youth as well as symbolic and initiatory passages toward adulthood. First, his love encounter with Mondeva, the daughter of the stars he met in a forest, who will make him discover her music from space which he cannot yet reproduce. Unfortunately, Mondeva disappears in the firmament. Then he tells us a crucial moment in the life of any musician, his entrance to the conservatory. He appears before a benevolent jury impressed by Michael, who sings, dances and plays the trumpet! The jury is conquered and Michael enters the conservatory.
