Since its inception in 2020, the vocal ensemble Entresilences, directed by Iris Thion-Poncet, has captivated audiences with its diversity and versatility. The singers of the ensemble skillfully navigate a wide range of repertoires, spanning from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Entresilences stands out for its ability to adapt to various contexts and missions. As a flexible ensemble, it is comfortable with diverse artistic projects, whether concerts, service performances, or cultural mediation. The ensemble strives to create performances that resonate with the present time. Composers and creators find in this entity an open platform for expression and experimentation.
Entresilences has made a lasting impression with concerts at the Institut Florimont featuring English music from the late Renaissance and the French Étiquette program at the Saint-Germain Summer Concert Festival in Geneva. Their recent collaboration with Los Calchakis for the album *Destino Patagonia* was praised by both the public and critics alike.
At the Opéra-Comique, Entresilences is also involved in initiatives such as Comme ça vous chante and Bébés Chœurs, reflecting their commitment to reaching new audiences and making music accessible to everyone.
The name "Entresilences" is derived from a poem by contemporary Franco-Argentinian poet Pablo Urquiza.
