Laura Dondoli is an Italian performer, actress and costume designer based in France. After studying fashion design in Florence and non-academic stage training with international choreographers, musicians and directors, she began specialising in the performing arts in 2009.
Over the years she has collaborated on a number of projects as an actress and/or costume designer, notably with Romeo Castellucci/Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, Virgilio Sieni, Fiorenza Menni, Teatro delle Albe, Teatro Sotterraneo, Silvia Costa, and for numerous theatres, festivals and opera houses in Europe (Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, Stuttgart Opera, Festival d'Automne, Vorarlberger Landestheater Bregenz, Hanover Opera). In 2017 she was in charge of programming the Fosca In Tepidario "Impermanence" festival at the Horticultural Garden in Florence on behalf of the Fosca collective, with the aim of encouraging exchanges between artistic communities from different fields. The particularity of her artistic career has enabled her to develop a cross-disciplinary approach to costume, presence and stage gesture.
