Robert Carsen has been artistic director and designer for exhibitions at the Musée d’Orsay, the Grand Palais, the Musée Galiera and the École des Beaux Arts; the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Future theatre and opera productions include: Oedipus at Colonnus and Antigone for the Greek Theatre in Syracuse, and Cosi fan Tutte for Teatro alla Scala.
