Vincent Guérin began playing music at the age of five, taking up the piano. With a particular fondness for polyphony, he soon developed a passion for the French horn, playing in a number of symphony and wind orchestras.

Lulled daily by the voice of his mother, who was both a singer and accompanist, he turned to opera singing and at the age of eighteen joined Jean-Louis Serre's class at the Val-Maubuée CRD. He obtained his DEM in 2020. At the age of twenty-three, he was admitted first to the Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, graduating in Céline Laly's class in 2023.

Since 2020, Vincent has been honing his skills alongside such iconic singers as Neil Shicoff, José Van Dam and Anne Sofie Von Otter. He has already appeared as soloist with orchestra in Mozart's Requiem, Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle, Haydn's Creation and Mussorgsky's Songs and Dances of Death. In June 2023, he sang the role of Fernando (La Doña Francisquita, Alma Vives) with the Compagnons Lyriques orchestra, at Château Ernest, in Tantonville, as well as the role of Docteur Gérard in the operetta La Veilleuse, by Louisa Puget, with the Compagnie Au temps pour elle.

In November 2023, he won 1st Prize in the Macon International Autumn Symphony Competition, as well as the Orchestra and Technician Prize and the Génération Opéra Prize. He will be a member of the Opéra-Comique Academy for the 2024-2025 season. He is part of the 6th Generation of Opera Fuoco. He will also perform the roles of Max, in Freischütz (Weber/Berlioz) alongside Vincent Letexier, at the Festival de Jaugettes in July 2024, and Titus (La clemenza di Tito, Mozart), with Opera Fuoco in April 2025 at the Opéra de Massy.

Vincent Guérin is a member of the Académie de l'Opéra-Comique for the class of 2024/2025.
